This recorder was manufactured by Sony to use proprietary micro cassette tapes that would record on 6 tracks plus one additional data track that include a date timestamp and other information.
The quality of recordings made by this device were always phenomenal, and was the number one choice for agencies worldwide at one time. This model recorder was also used by the film industry due to the quality it would produce.
Included are five 120 minute proprietary NT2 tapes,( value 100.00) one cleaning cassette, one remote on off switch,one bar type stereo microphone,and oem wall adapter all in a small pelican case. It uses 1 aa battery and 1 1220 watch battery to preserve the clock and data.
It has less than 100 hours of use. Works perfect. This must be signed for by an adult, can do face time etc for serious buyer.
When brand new this package was @ 2000.00. I purchased it new, out of pocket, and am the original owner.
Tapes are available for this, although not cheap, having a recording in a proprietary format works well in court, especially in the high quality format this produces.They work well.
