Lot of vintage 1940's - 1950's  letters and other ephemera from the Mrs. William H. Long family of Somerville, NJ.
Most letters look like they were written by Mrs. Long's grandson Billy Long, some by granddaughter Edith Sue Long with some greeting cards included. Most include envelopes with cancelled stamps. Billy and Edith Susanne Long were from York, PA.
    Includes the following:
39 letters from Billy and Edith Sue written to Dr. and Mrs. William H. Long in first few years of letters form 1940's and then only addressed to Mrs. Long (Dr. Long) must have passed towards end of 1940's.  Most were addressed by mother supposedly , but some were written by the children. A few were written on postcards.
Many of the letters included pictures drawn by children or school work pages that were sent to Grandmother.
Also there is one photograph, dated 1949, of young girl I am assuming is Edith Susanne Long.
A birthday card signed by children in 1950 with napkin full of hair clippings
one school program with hand decorated cover by child from Fourteenth Annual Mother's and Daughter's Banquet of Advent Lutheran Church, York, PA dated 1949.
one 1944 typed newsletter for Y.C.I-Y.C.A Kindergarten Kapers.
one professional pamphlet for The W.H. Long Co Advertising Co. of York, Pennsylvania, Central PA's Largest Advertising Agency.
One fall napkin folded over with childs handmade Thanksgiving Day placemarks for dinner.
Great group of ephemera saved by a grandmother sent to her by her loving grandchildren!
