    FANTASTIC!
A very rare opportunity to purchase an original White Star Line letterhead; the letter written on board a White Star ship, with a pre-Titanic sinking letterhead reference to the building of Olympic and Titanic.
Letter dated July 22, 1911 - written on board RMS Celtic, the first of a quartet of White Star Line ships dubbed "the big four" that were built prior to the largest "Olympic Class" vessels (Olympic, Titanic, Britannic). Of interest to the collector is the fact that the RMS Celtic letterhead has a graphic depiction of Olympic/Titanic and a reference that they are "45,000 Tons ~ The Largest Steamers in the World ~ BUILDING". In fact, by the time this letter was written in July 1911, Olympic had just the previous month taken her maiden voyage and Titanic had been launched (she was not to take her maiden until April 1912, when she famously hit an iceberg and sunk 2.5 miles to the bottom of the north Atlantic).
