Antique Japanese Katana/Samurai Sword RED/GOLD

Description

This museum grade katana is in absolutely fantastic condition. The handle of the blade is wrapped in a glorious red wrapping that looks beautiful with the gold. The handle is shark skin. The red wrapping on the handle is torn. There are engravings under the handle (if you know Japanese I would love a translation). The gray rope that is hanging from the handle also goes with the colors very well. The hilt is in fantastic condition and has beautiful engravings. The sword blade is still very sharp and is near flawless. The scabbard is in great condition and looks hardly used. The engravings on the scabbard are great too. The ring to be mounted on a belt? Is in very good condition. The sword fits very snugly in the scabbard and takes a good pull to pull out. Overall a fantastic sword for a fantastic price. Let me know if you have any questions.
