    Description

    Photo 1 - These two Western Union Telegrams are both in their original envelopes
    Photos 2-3 - This telegram was sent on May 1, 1899 from Allegheny, PA, to Asbury Park, NJ. The envelope is complete but has some tears from opening
    Photos 4-5 - This telegram was sent from Chicago, IL to Freeport, IL on June 14. The year is not  identified, but Form 1204 is the type used in the early 1920's. The envelope was roughly torn open at the right end and the telegram has a small hole where the top fold crosses the center  fold
    These items are in the used condition shown in the photos with some defects as noted above
